Beet & Berry Smoothie
This is one of our family's favorite smoothie recipes. It's a great balance of vegetables, citrus, fat, and high-water content fruit to keep sugar low and nutrients high.
TIME: 10 MIN | YEILD: 32 OUNCES
INGREDIENTS:
1 large apple, cored (red or green)
2 stalks celery
1/2 large cucumber, peeled if desired
1 cup frozen berries (blueberries, raspberries, strawberries)
1/4 small avocado (optional)
Juice of 1 lemon
Juice of 1 lime
1 tablespoon of Beet Crystals
1 teaspoon Aloe Life Daily Greens (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS:
Combine all ingredients in a high-power blender like a Vitamix and blend until it is smooth.
