INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Bring water to a boil and add the Chai Tea Herbal Blend. Stir and reduce the heat to simmer for 5-8 minutes with lid ajar. Remove tea from the burner and cover with the lid, allowing the tea to steep for an additional 3-5 minutes. *Avoid steeping longer to keep the tea from becoming too gelatinous to strain.

  2. Strain the herbs through a fine mesh strainer and set aside. Using a cloth strainer allows you to extract more for a stronger tea. (You can save the used herbs for a second use.)

  3. In a separate pan, warm nut or oat milk and whisk it as it heats to help it froth. Once it's heated, combine the milk, the strained chai tea, and sweetener in a mug. Sprinkle with cinnamon and/or nutmeg.

  4. To make a cold Healing Herbal Chai Latte, skip warming the milk and simply pour the sweetened chai and milk mixture over ice.
