Maple Turkey Breakfast Sausage

This is a good mild sausage (also known as "ausage" by our daughter Naomi) for little ones just starting to enjoy chicken or turkey.

TIME: 30 MINS | YEILD: 45-50 SMALL PATTIES

INGREDIENTS:

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl.

  2. Using a tablespoon, scoop the meat mixture into your hands and form into small patties.

  3. Heat coconut oil in a skillet or griddle over medium heat.

  4. Fry each patty for a few minutes on each side in coconut oil until cooked through.

  5. Freeze any leftover patties and reheat in a skillet or griddle for your next meal.

TIPS:

I always like to check my seasonings before I fry the whole batch. To do this, I cook one or two patties and then take a bite to see if I think it needs more of something.
