1 tablespoon cacao powder (for blonde hair; use less or even no cacao powder)
Instructions
For brown hair, add together the diatomaceous earth and cacao powder into a bowl and mix until blended. For blonde hair, use only the diatomaceous earth or add a smaller amount of cacao powder to mixture. Store in a closed container. When ready to use, put a little powder on the tips of your fingers and rub a small amount on your roots. Bend over with your head towards the ground and rub the powder around your scalp to get the powder blended throughout the hair.
Heat 1 cup of water to a simmer and remove from the heat. Add the horsetail and nettle, cover, and let infuse for 10 minutes. Strain and set aside. In a bowl, thoroughly combine the oils and essential oils. Once the nettle and horsetail infusion has cooled, add together all ingredients, including the egg, in a blender. Do not allow the blender to heat the liquid as it can cook the egg. You don’t want scrambled eggs in the mix! (If you don’t have a blender, then use a whisk or hand blender). Coat the hair with this mixture and let it sit for 15-20 minutes. Thoroughly wash out with shampoo and conditioner(may need to do it twice).
Note: For added strength, rinse your hair with an extra horsetail and nettle infusion after showering.
In a bottle, mix all ingredients and shake until blended. Massage this mixture into your scalp 1-2 hours before showering. Thoroughly wash your hair. Do this 2 times per week.
Note: Can use a small amount at a time to increase shine. Rub a dime amount in hands after showering and apply all over hair.
Mix all ingredients in a mason jar and shake. Let the concoction sit in a cool, dry place for 2-3 weeks and shake daily. When ready to use, dilute 2 tablespoons of the herbal vinegar with 1 cup of filtered water and rinse through wet hair after showering. The herbal vinegar blend can be used for up to 6 months. Store it in a cool, dry place.
Bring water to a boil. Place peppermint and lavender in a bowl and add the hot water. Steep for 15 minutes. Add apple cider vinegar to the infusion and allow the mixture to cool. Strain and place the mixture into a jar. After showering, apply the infusion to wet hair, making sure it has cooled completely.
